Outpatient Clinic Re-opening

Outpatient Speech Therapy Re-opens

We are very pleased to announce that we have successfully re-opened our outpatient clinic. Outpatient speech therapy in Dutchess County is available at our home office at 1032 Main Street in Fishkill, New York.

We have implemented new guidelines to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our clinicians and office workers.

Please review the following list, if any of these symptoms apply to you or your child please reschedule.

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.

If you and/or your child/patient are symptom free, plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes early for your appointment.

In an effort to minimize exposure, we are limiting access to the clinic areas.  The clinic space will be reserved for your appointment only.  This will also allow us to properly disinfect the waiting and treatment areas in between appointments.

When you arrive please wait in the parking lot and call the office at 845-897-3330 and announce your arrival.

You will be alerted by the office when to come into the building.  One parent/guardian or companion will be allowed in the office with your child or loved one.  We will ask everyone entering to use the hand sanitizer provided upon entering the clinic and will, distantly, take the temperatures of those entering the clinic space.

All adults are required to wear masks at all times in all areas of the clinic.  All children 2 years and older who have the ability to, are also required to wear masks in common areas.

Depending on the reason for the visit, please know patients may be asked to remove masks during treatment sessions.   We ask that masks remain in place unless/until the SLP asks for it to be removed.

Parents/guardians or companions must wait in the waiting area during patient evaluations and treatments.  Unfortunately, there will be no bathroom facilities available.

Co-pays may be made with credit card or check at the time of the appointment.

Thank you for your time and consideration during this difficult time.  We look forward to seeing and caring for you and your loved ones.

Be Safe and Well,
Your Team at Language Fundamentals/SLP Communication Foundations
